Summer Learning
Summer can be a fun break for students, but we also want to do our part to support youth during the summer months so learning doesn’t have to stop. We organize BookFest, an annual free book drive for students, and take-home STEM, math, reading, and art kits for hands-on learning at home.

In partnership with the United Way of Lane County, BookFest helps promote reading and prevent summer learning loss by ensuring that the K-2nd graders who need them most go home for the summer with self-selected reading material.
How you can get involved:
-
- Host a Book Drive
- Donate Funds for New Books
- Donate Books: Donate clean, gently used, age-appropriate books for K-2 students to Lane Education Service District on April 1 OR April 8, between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.
