Empowering Youth at Spark at Booth-Kelly
Spark at Booth-Kelly has opened at the Booth-Kelly Center in Springfield, Oregon as our second youth innovation hub for Lane County youth. This location helps us better serve youth throughout Springfield and surrounding rural communities.
Standing at 11,000 square feet, renderings help put Spark at Booth-Kelly into perspective.
We are expanding our Spark programming, growing our after-school and summer work programs, and creating another safe place for youth to gather.
Our after-school work program, the Agency, is expanding and our new youth workforce center, the Career Launchpad, will help our programs provide ready-to-work services.
The space houses an industrial-size CNC machine, an indoor/outdoor welding area, and a manufacturing technology pathway, all supported by industry partners.
