Mentor Trainee
Swanson Group is hiring a Mentor Trainee. This position requires the mentor trainee to serve in the following positions, as directed by their supervisor for production and cross-training purposes: Polyline Operator, Dryer Feeder, Dryer Grader, Raimann Operator, Sheet Station (all descriptions of what this entails are on the direct link). This position would be based in Glendale.
Entry-Level Production Trainee
Swanson Group is hiring an Entry-Level Production Trainee. Swing shift position – 5:30 pm-4:00 am/Monday-Friday. Will conduct a 6-8 week training program and will be fit into one of the following positions: Sticker Operator, Bander/Endwax, Paperwrap, Stacker II, Sawmill Sorter Help, Dispatch (all positions have descriptions in the direct link). This position is based in Roseburg.
Light Grading & Paving Apprentice Operator Program
Knife River is accepting applicants for their Light Grading & Paving Apprentice Operator Program. Applicant must be 18 years of age at the time of hire and have either a high school diploma or GED certificate. It's an on-the-job, 4-year training program that consists of time spent in the field and in the classroom. Apprentices are treated as regular, full-time members at Knife River, which means an excellent benefits package and competitive wage. ($33.70/hour)

Fabrication/PVC Pipe Bender
Atkor is hiring a Fabrication/PVC Pipe Bender. We are currently looking for a Fab Operator to be based out of the Eugene location, reporting to the Shift Lead. The Fabricator Operator will run various machines and saws in the area. The primary role is to use the machines to bend pipe by loading pipe into the machine and/or connecting pipe to the bender part of the machine. It is the operator’s job to keep an eye on the specs and quality of the product. THIS IS ON THE JOB TRAINING.

The Material Handler’s primary focus will be to package finished pipe in proper crate quantities. Make sure Quality checks are being done on a regular basis and make sure customers get a quality product.
Body Shop Technician Trainee
Peterson Trucks is looking for a Body Shop Technician Trainee. Performing repairs on bodies and body parts of trucks, buses, and other related vehicles using hand tools and power tools. Some duties include welding, body and panel alignment, painting processes, etc. Must have a high school diploma or GED, Vocational/Technical School preferred, and working knowledge of body repair with prior body shop experience preferred.
Entry-Level General Plant Utility
