We're Hiring a Projects Assistant
About the Position
Salary Range: Starting at $42,000
The Projects Assistant for the Navigate program will contribute to and supports the execution of projects and activities through data management efforts. Primary duties include gathering and tracking crucial data and inputting data into various databases.
We are looking for someone who enjoys data entry, is focused, detail-oriented, energetic, enthusiastic about our mission, and is eager to provide crucial support to internal teams. The ideal candidate is willing and able to perform assigned tasks quickly and efficiently, and they can resolve unexpected issues and challenges promptly.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Capture data and upload it into relevant databases accurately.
- Identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.
- Gather receipts, reports, documents, and information from employees, youth, partners, and funders.
- Perform administrative tasks such as processing invoices, scheduling meetings, ordering supplies, etc.
- Complete tasks assigned by the Project Coordinator in an efficient and timely manner.
- Perform data entry using various software including iTrac, eBridge, Everyaction, and/or Google Sheets.
- Query data and produce reports as needed.
- Provide event logistic support.
- Research information as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma plus two years of experience in a professional setting is preferred.
- A combination of experience, education, or training may be considered.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Proficiency with Google Suite is required.
- Highly developed attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines are required.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed.
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to learn quickly, creatively problem-solve and try new approaches.
- Ability to work harmoniously with internal staff, grantors, and partners.
- A valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one by hire date is required.
- A First Aid/CPR card is preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
