2024 Learning Summits

Preparing Youth for Rewarding Careers

Youth Support and Workforce Development Conferences for Professionals

Springfield, Oregon
May, 2024

Connected Lane County is hosting two one-day learning summits, generously sponsored by the Oregon Community Foundation, designed to inform professionals working with youth on best practices. Summits gather professionals interested in creating opportunities for young people by helping them build skills and gain work-ready experiences. At the learning summits, you’ll meet with professionals from across the state of Oregon and learn how organizations are bridging gaps, enacting change, and creating safe spaces for youth to succeed. With the information provided at our summits, you will learn essential youth development best practices and connect with a community committed to meaningful youth impact. Feeling extra inspired? Participate in both workshops!

The final deadline to register is May 8!

About Our One-Day Summits

Our learning summits draw from our organization's experience and review successful program models and best practices for programming utilizing the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and Oregon Youth Employment Program funding. Summits include youth panels, breakout sessions, tours, workshops, and social networking opportunities. Each summit contains key information, but the topics will differ by day. You can join us for a singular one-day summit or sign up for both!
