We're Hiring an Industry Outreach Coordinator
About the Position
Salary Range: Starting at $55,000
The Industry Outreach Coordinator manages industry outreach and program communication for Connected Lane County’s Elevate program activities and events. This position will work to organize, develop, and maintain the program’s industry outreach efforts. The Industry Outreach Coordinator will play a critical role on the Elevate program team by working closely with the Project Coordinators and Projects Assistants to ensure youth in our community have access to quality, equitable career-connected learning opportunities. The coordinator identifies areas of improvement, implements solutions to help the program scale, and manages industry communication and outreach.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Communicate with industry partners via email, phone, and in-person to garner support for and participation in Elevate program events and experiences such as Summer Internships, Job Shadows, Career Expos, Hiring Fairs, showcases, Excelerators, and more.
- Identify and develop industry partnerships, sponsorship opportunities, and community partnerships.
- Track industry partnership details and communications.
- Collaborate with peer project coordinators on additional organization programs and initiatives.
- Work with the marketing team to develop outreach materials.
- Attend networking events, forums, meetings, conferences, and training, as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, education, or other related fields is preferred.
- Two years of successful experience in project or program coordination is required.
- Experience applying concepts of Collective Impact preferred.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Knowledge of local businesses and community organizations is preferred.
- Well-developed communication skills (both oral and written) and courtesy are required to develop and maintain positive relationships with diverse populations of youth, partners, and stakeholders.
- Highly developed organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines are both required.
- Initiative and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to creatively problem-solve and try new approaches.
- Ability to work harmoniously with internal staff, grantors, and agency partners.
- Ability to make presentations to and facilitate diverse groups, solicit input, and synthesize and summarize information and ideas for program development purposes.
- Proficiency with Google Suite is required.
- A valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to obtain one by hire date is required.
- A First Aid/CPR card is preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
- Spanish language skills are preferred.
