Through engaged learning, you’ll explore essential support methods that put the peer’s lived experience at the heart of the work. By the end of the course, you’ll be ready to register as a certified Youth Support Specialist with the state of Oregon—opening doors to new opportunities.
Our program is led by certified Youth Support Specialists with diverse backgrounds. They guide you through an engaging mix of interactive tools, including presentations, videos, group discussions, role-playing, and more. You’ll gain practical knowledge that you can immediately apply in real-world scenarios.

Eligibility Requirements
- Must be between the ages of 17-24 years old. (Must be 18 to gain certification.)
- Daily attendance is mandatory.
- No prior experience is needed.
