Empowering Youth at Spark at Booth-Kelly
Spark at Booth-Kelly has opened at the Booth-Kelly Center in Springfield, Oregon, as our second youth innovation hub for Lane County youth. This location helps us better serve youth throughout Springfield and surrounding rural communities.
Standing at 11,000 square feet, renderings help put Spark at Booth-Kelly into perspective.
With the expansion to Springfield, our after-school and summer Spark experiences have grown! We also have drop-in support hours for youth to safely gather.
Our after-school work program, the Agency, has expanded to include new capabilities, and our new youth workforce center, the Career Launchpad, helps our staff provide ready-to-work services.
The space houses an industrial-size CNC machine, an indoor/outdoor welding area, and a manufacturing technology pathway, all supported by industry partners.
