Warehouse Worker

Spring Valley Dairy is a local, family-owned dairy products distribution company in need of a warehouse worker. This is a full-time position with health and dental insurance after 60 days, as well as an opportunity for a raise after a 90-day probationary period. The shift days/times are Monday through Friday from 10:00am to 6:30pm. (five 8-hour shifts). Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure that each truck is loaded with specific product, according to load sheets
• Ensure proper rotation and organization of product within the warehouse
• Ensure warehouse is neat and clean and in proper condition at the end of each shift
• Assisting co-workers on dock and in warehouse
• Demonstrate good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions

Requirements include, but are not limited to:

• Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds, climb ladders, withstand road shocks and moderate vibrations
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
• Must speak English well enough to take instructions from supervisor and communicate with fellow employees
• Must understand enough math to verify quantities
• Able to operate material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
• Able to prioritize tasks throughout the day
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision
• Spring Valley Dairy is a drug-free company, and requires pre-employment and ongoing random drug testing (to include marijuana).
