Professional Credit (Professional) is the Northwests leading Collection and Recovery Agency, is seeking a part-time Office Assistant to help with our continued growth. Professional is dedicated to changing the perception of the collection industry, one phone call at a time.

The Office Assistant is responsible for providing exceptional office and project management support. The Office Assistant will be communicating with the all levels of management in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and confidentiality is crucial to this role. The Office Assistant oversees special projects and administrative duties for the department that include servicing the front desk. COVID-19 Considerations/Work Environment:

The position is part-time, Monday Friday, working 20-29 hours per week (day shift) and is located onsite in a COVID safe environment that meets Oregons OSHA and OHA COVID-19 rules, and is ideal for those that are at least 2 weeks past their final vaccination.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle document processing for the department; scanning and indexing documents and processing mail
  • Assist with daily letter production, including folding, stuffing and sorting letters.
  • Audit and inspect letters to evaluate quality of printings (ink usage, letter alignment, etc.)
  • Welcome and assist walk in guest, answering basic account questions, and fulfilling minor document requests upon the lobby re-opening. (*Office lobby’s are currently closed in observance of COVID 19 protocols)
  • Assist Administrative Supervisor with ad-hoc reports and special projects and other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Administrative experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel
  • Sound decision making skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently and in group settings
  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a busy environment while maintaining accuracy, a high attention to detail, and observance of company processes and policies
