Nova Display Systems is looking to hire a full-time / part-time Warehouse Worker to pack and process incoming and outgoing merchandise in accordance with company guidelines. Must be accurate, neat, dependable, and work well with others. Attention to detail and quality is a must while performing work.

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Preparing standard items and fragile merchandise for shipping by packing them into boxes, pallets, or crates.
  • Weighting packages and labeling them appropriately.
  • Determines method of shipment and prepares shipping labels, bills of lading, invoices, and other shipping documents.
  • Organizing warehouse merchandise and stacking them on shelves and racks in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Performing all duties necessary to maintain warehouse cleanliness, which includes sweeping, mopping, and dusting as needed.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assisting warehouse staff in retrieving specified merchandise from storage as per the delivery or shipping orders.
  • Receiving incoming merchandise and verifying that they are undamaged and of sound quality
  • Weighing and counting received items.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all incoming and outgoing merchandise.
  • Utilizing warehouse lift equipment to load and unload merchandise as well as move, lift, or stack merchandise as needed.
  • Maintains a safe working environment by adhering to company safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 18 years old
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs, or handling packages up to 100 lbs using hand tools.
  • Able to stand up to 4 hours at a time
  • Able to learn to operate machinery
  • Detail-oriented and and highly-organized
  • Able to work well as part of a team.

Pay: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour
