COVID-19 Considerations/Work Environment
The position is full-time, Monday – Friday, with a start time between 6 am or 7 am. During the initial
training, hours are from 8am – 5pm and onsite in a COVID safe environment that meets Oregon’s
OSHA and OHA COVID-19 rules, and is ideal for those that are at least 2 weeks past their final

Job Responsibilities
• Collect outstanding self-pay balances or set up acceptable payment plans
• Take inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner and update patient information and answer
• Work in client systems (must be comfortable with computers and learning multiple systems).
• Probe to identify patient needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions
&/or alternatives
• Problem solving skills, strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task and manage a high
volume of calls
• Ability to put the patient first and remain polite and professional at all times
• Strong negotiation skills
Job Requirements
• Desire to learn. We are willing to train the right candidate.
• Proficient computer knowledge and ability to work in multiple hospital systems
• Prior medical experience a plus (medical terminology, medical billing, medical office assistant)
• Type 25 words per minute
• Self-discipline to manage your schedule and stay on task
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Attention to detail and strong multi-tasking skills
• The desire to make a difference and help others
• Excellent attendance so you can assist us in fulfilling our mission
